The Emquies Family Sephardic Library: Preserving Sephardic Heritage in Jerusalem

The SEC library is a living study space dedicated to the books, manuscripts, and teachings of Sephardic sages.

More than a collection of texts, the library serves as a Beit Midrash, educational center, screening room, conference space, and home for serious study of Sephardic Judaism in the 20th and 21st centuries.

It preserves the written legacy of rabbis and scholars who studied and taught in these historic rooms — and brings their voices into conversation with the next generation.
